The nearest international airport is at Perpignan. Ryanair offers daily low-cost flights from London (Stansted) and twice weekly flights from Birmingham. Flybe (from Southampton) and bmibaby (from Manchester) have seasonal flights.

 

Girona is easily reachable. Ryanair offers low cost flights from Birmingham, Blackpool, Bournemouth, Bristol, Doncaster (Sheffield), Durham (Tees Valley), East Midlands, Glasgow (Prestwick), Liverpool, London (Luton & Stansted), Manchester and Newcastle.

 

Carcassonne is another possibility. Ryanair offers low cost flights from East Midlands, Liverpool and London (Stansted).

 

Travellers from the US and Canada will most likely find their best option to be connecting to Perpignan in London or flying direct to Barcelona.

 

The travelling times given by Google are generous. More realistic times to Campôme are:

 

· Perpignan - 50 minutes

· Girona - 1 hour 40 minutes

· Carcassonne - 1 hour 50 minutes

 

By Train

 

The TGV runs from Paris or Lille to Perpignan. There are Eurostar connections from London St Pancras. There is a train services from Perpignan (Phone +33 836 353 535) to Prades (Phone +33 468 960 171).

 

By Car from Perpignan (55km)

 

Follow the A9 around Perpignan, then take the N116, direction Andorre to Prades. At the third roundabout on the N116 as it goes around Prades, take the D619 direction Catllar, Molitg-les-Bains. Continue through Catllar where the road number changes to the D14, direction Col de Jau, Mosset. Continue through Molitg-les-Bains. Turn left into Campôme. Cross the river bridge and bear right. The house is facing you, opposite the church.

Take the E15, direction Perpignan. Then follow the directions from Perpignan.

 

By Car from Carcassonne (160km)

 

Take the A61, direction Narbonne, Perpignan, Montpellier. Merge into the A9, direction Sigean, Perpignan, Barcelone. Then follow the directions from Perpignan. The shorter route shown on the Google map takes longer.

 

By Bus

 

There is a bus service from Perpignan to Prades.
